We will welcome the arrival of spring with fresh forest air and sunshine by enjoying a 2.5 hours hike at Bob Hunter Memorial Park on Monday, May 18, 2026, followed by a delightful dinner gathering.
Hike: Trails at Bob Hunter Memorial Park, Scarborough
Hiking Start time: 2:00pm Monday May 18, 2026
Hiking meeting place:Parking Lot at Bob Hunter Memorial Park (Parking area at 7277 14th Avenue) *Please be there by 1:50 pm. Hike starts on time.
Directions to meeting Place: Steeles Ave E, turn left on Ressor Rd, turn left on 14th Ave, follow signs and turn left on driveway to the parking lot.
Hiking Fee: $5 for non-members hiker to cover insurance (to be collected onsite) / Free for HKUAAO members (HKUAAO Membership Information)
Dinner: Crown Jewel Fine Dining (御膳豪庭) 325 Bamburgh Cir, Scarborough, ON M1W 3Y1
Dinner Time: 6:00pm
Dinner Costs: $50/Adult, $25/Child (age 6-12), Free for Child (age under 6)
Payment: Email transfer the total amount (Dinner fee only) to hkuaaont@hku.hk *Dinner fee has to be eTransferred to HKUAAO before Monday May 11, 2026)
Family members and friends are welcome.
*The trails may be muddy. Please bring a pair of shoes to change after hike.
*Please bring light jacket, hat. water, snack, mosquito spray, hiking stick, etc. as needed
*Please form carpool as parking spaces are limited.
Please register using the online registration form before Monday May 11, 2026 if you are interested. You will be asked to provide your name and contact phone number, as well as emergency contact person (name and phone) and indicate if you will join dinner as well. (Dinner registration is on a first come first serve basis, please register early)
