On August 24, 2025, HKUAAO held the Special HKUMed Alumni Dinner with Prof. Lap-Chee Tsui and Prof. C.S. Lau at 6:00 pm at Lobster Port Seafood Restaurant in Markham. Hosted by Professor Lap-Chee Tsui, this special occasion welcomed Professor C.S. Lau, Vice President and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Health) and Dean of Medicine at HKU, along with other members of the HKUMed delegation: 
Professor Ying-Shing Chan, Senior Advisor to the Dean cum Director of Campus Development and Infrastructure
Professor David Bishai, Director and Clinical Professor of School of Public Health
Professor Chia-Chin Lin, Director of School of Nursing and Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Charity Foundation Professor in Nursing
Ms. Wing Ho, Faculty Secretary, LKS Faculty of Medicine
Dr. Victor Chan, Assistant Registrar, LKS Faculty of Medicine

The evening brought together HKU alumni in Ontario for a 10-course Chinese banquet, fostering meaningful connections between alumni and the HKUMed team.

The event provided a warm platform for alumni to reconnect, exchange insights, and strengthen the bonds between HKU’s global community and the Faculty of Medicine.
