Felix Kwok (BA 2008) | Apollo 40 Under 40 Asia Pacific 2022
Big congratulations to our alumnus Felix Kwok (BA 2008) for being listed in the Apollo 40 Under 40 Asia Pacific 2022! As the Director and Head of Modern Art at Sotheby’s Asia, Felix has played an influential role in promoting modern art across Asia and contributing to the development of the Hong Kong art market.
HKU Alumni founded design studio ‘BREADStudio HK’ receives Good Design Award 2021
Established in 2011, BREADStudio is an award winning multi-disciplinary design consultancy. It is co-founded by HKU Alumni Benny Lee (BA(ArchStud), 2004) and Paul Mui (BA(ArchStud), 2002), with hope to inspire the public adapt more eco-friendly ways and make Hong Kong greener. Their most recent award-winning project is the Wan Chai Community Green Station which received the Good Design Award 2021.
Nesia Cheung (BAAS 2018, MArch 2021) – DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award 2021
Congratulations to Nesia Cheung (BA(ArchStud) 2018, MArch 2021) for receiving the DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award 2021 (Environmental Design) with her thesis Dis-a-pier | Re-a-pier. With a passion for buildings with a history, Nesia hopes to contribute to the local architectural scene by conserving and giving new life to historic buildings in Hong Kong.
