Mint Leung (BBA 2015) | WeGoWhere

“Ty Lertwichaiworawit and Mint Leung cofounded WeGoWhere, a social networking app that helps users build, manage and nurture in-person relationships. The app has over 500,000 users who spend an average of 28 minutes daily on it. WeGoWhere secured over $1.3 million in funding from investors in the U.S. and Singapore including 500 Global, Goodwater Capital, Antler, and Peng T. Ong.”

Stephen Tsang (BBA(A&F) 2017) | Goldman Sachs

“Stephen Tsang is one of Goldman Sachs’ youngest executive directors in Asia. He joined the investment banking giant in 2018 as an analyst in its asset and wealth management division in Hong Kong. Tsang was promoted to associate in 2021 and then to executive director a year later. (It usually takes associates about three years to be promoted to executive director). At Goldman, Tsang connects high-net-worth individuals and family offices in Asia with investment opportunities around the world.”

Dr Baxi Chong (BEng(EngSc)2016) | Georgia Tech

“A postdoctoral researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Chong Baxi focuses on robotics and locomotion theories in his research. He has worked on a new type of robot that can move through complex environments and rugged terrains without relying on a lot of sensors. This is enabled by adding connected legs to the prototype, a design inspired by the movement of centipedes.”

Samson Ho (BBA2017) | Jumppoint

“Samson Ho is cofounder and CEO of Hong Kong-based logistics startup Jumppoint. Founded in 2020, Jumppoint offers end-to-end logistics services to e-commerce merchants including warehousing, fulfilment and local, international and cold-chain deliveries. Jumppoint focuses on developing markets in Southeast Asia and Latin America, where cost is a major factor, and says its superior technology keeps prices down.”

Ronald Tse (BSc 2017, MSc(ITE)2019) | AfterSchool Education

“Ronald Tse is founder and CEO of Hong Kong-based AfterSchool Education. Founded in 2018, AfterSchool partners with schools and non-governmental organizations to offer free or subsidized tutoring for students who feel left behind in an ultra-competitive system in which after-school tutoring is needed to get into universities. AfterSchool says more than 3,000 students from poor families have benefitted from its classes.”
