Meet Rocco Yim, who designed the Hong Kong Palace Museum

Rocco Yim 嚴迅奇, (BA(ArchStud) 1974; BArch 1976; Hon DSocSc 2013) who designed the 香港故宮文化博物館 Hong Kong Palace Museum, recently took HKU Alumni News on a tour of the new cultural landmark and shared with us his philosophy and principles in designing the iconic project.

The HKPM, which opened to the public on July 2, 2022, showcases over 900 treasures from The Palace Museum in Beijing. It is part of the ever-growing West Kowloon Cultural District.
