[ 27 June 2026] Commemorating the First Anniversary of the Business School South China Alumni Network

The celebration of the HKU Business School South China Alumni Network’s first anniversary began with inspiring talks and heartfelt reflections, culminating in a memorable grand gala dinner on 27 June at the Langham Hotel in Guangzhou. This special event brought together over 300 alumni, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with pride, gratitude, and a shared sense of community.

Professor Cai Hongbin 蔡洪濱, Dean of the HKU Business School, warmly congratulated everyone on this milestone, expressing his heartfelt appreciation for the enduring bonds and collective achievements of our alumni. Dr Sun Huaiqing 孫懷慶 (DBA 2022), President of the Alumni Network, reflected on a year of remarkable growth and collaboration, sharing visions for the future that continue to strengthen our alumni family.

Ms Monica Wong 黃珮瑤, Director of Alumni Affairs, and our dedicated professors from the Business School joined in the celebration, adding their warmth and enthusiasm to an already special evening. It was a heartfelt reminder of the enduring connections that tie us together—beyond graduation and beyond borders. As we shared stories, laughter, and aspirations under the same roof, it became clear that our alumni community is more than just a network; it’s a family united by shared values, memories, and a collective vision for a brighter future.
