The HKU spirit shone brightly at our alumni dinner in Chicago on October 16, 2026, hosted by the HKU Central USA Alumni Network. Twenty alumni—from graduates of the 1970s to the newest Class of 2026—came together for an evening filled with warmth and fond memories. Some alumni even travelled from Indiana, Miami, Boston, and beyond, demonstrating their commitment to staying connected with the HKU family. The presence of Ms Monica Wong, Director of Alumni Affairs, who travelled from Hong Kong to join the dinner, made the occasion even more special.
Bravo to an alumni couple who donned their special HKU memorabilia – Margaret Sinn wearing an HKU tie and Daniel Pong the HKU Centenary Tee~! In true HKU fashion, they proudly celebrate our shared heritage and reminisce about the sweet university days!
Gatherings like this strengthen bonds across generations and showcase the enduring HKU spirit that unites us all. We encourage all HKU alumni, no matter where you are, to stay connected with your alma mater and local alumni networks—your participation keeps our vibrant community thriving!
