The HKU Nursing Leadership Development Fellowship (NLDF) Alumni Association hosted the Graduation Banquet on 13 Sep 2026! It brought together nearly 100 guests and alumni for an evening of celebration, gratitude, and meaningful connection.
Professor Sophia Siu-chee Chan, Director of the HKU JC NLDF Programme, shared, “Stand higher to see farther. Through the NLDF Programme, we empower nursing leaders to broaden their vision, embrace greater possibilities and shape the future of healthcare.”
During the dinner, teachers, distinguished guests, and Fellows raised their glasses to celebrate the joy of graduation—while cherishing the friendships, achievements, and lasting connections nurtured through the Fellowship.
The HKU NLDF Alumni also gathered alongside key stakeholders, including representatives from the Hospital Authority, private hospital sector, District Health Centres, the Department of Health, Advisory Board, HKU faculties, and DAAO—strengthening shared commitment and collective momentum for the future.
The Executive Committee members of the HKU NLDF Alumni Association—united by a shared mission to sustain connections, advance nursing leadership, and support the continued development of Fellows—helped make the evening both inspiring and unforgettable.
As shared by Mr Sampson Chan, Chairperson of the HKU NLDF Alumni Association, “The banquet was more than a celebration of graduation—it marked the beginning of a new chapter for our alumni community. It is a platform to stay connected, inspire one another, and advance nursing leadership together.”
