Stephanie Ng (Current PhD Candidate)
Founder & Executive Director of Body Banter
For sparking conversations about body image with coverage & compassion

“Body Banter sparks open conversations about body image topics among Hong Kong youth, empowering them to approach these issues with courage and curiosity. Stephanie Ng founded the charity in 2016 in response to the lack of resources available in Hong Kong on body image issues, as she discovered first-hand during her struggles with an eating disorder in her teens. Trained in clinical psychology, she aims to lift taboos and demolish the stigma surrounding the subject.”
