20th Anniversary Dinner in Tokyo
Alumni in Japan gathered at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the HKU Alumni Network of Japan.

The evening was hosted by Ms Sharon Tsang 曾詩朗 (BA(ArchStud)), President of the HKU Alumni Network of Japan. She noted that this very hotel was where the Network was inaugurated 20 years ago.
Founding President Mr K.Y. Ho 何國營 (BA) added a wonderful touch of symbolism — the first gathering was held on the basement level, and this time, everyone reunited on the 37th floor, a fitting reminder of how far the network has come.

Special guests included Ms Monica Wong, Director of Alumni Affairs at HKU, and Mr Leo Tze 謝智浩 (LLB, PCLL), alumnus and Deputy Representative of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Tokyo.

Second-generation alumnus Jason Cheung 張皓程 (JD, PCLL) was wearing his Dad’s HKU tie from the 1970s to this special occasion of reunion and inheritance.

The night was filled with laughter, a fun HKU quiz, and souvenirs brought from Hong Kong for the winners.
