HKU achieves record high ranking of 17th globally in 2025 QS World University Rankings

The University of Hong Kong has reached a historic milestone, securing the 17th position globally in the 2025 QS World University Rankings. HKU has leaped by nine positions and continues to uphold its distinguished status in local rankings.

"HKU's achievements today is the fruit of the collective effort by our scholars, staff, students, alumni and supporters. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for their dedication to HKU. From Scholarship Recipient to Donor

Award-winning singer-songwriter Serrini Leung, former scholarship recipient, has established a scholarship to support fellow students in the Faculty of Arts. She hopes the scholarship will encourage the students to study and experience more, allowing them the capacity to expand their ambitions.
