HKU honours 51 Highly Cited Researchers
|
A record high number of HKU academics named to the Clarivate list of Highly Cited Researchers in 2023 places HKU 13th in the world by that ranking which also contributes to Hong Kong’s ascent into the Top 10 nations and regions in 2023.
|
Highly Cited Researchers are selected for their exceptional research performance, demonstrated by producing multiple Highly Cited Papers™ ranking in the top 1% by citations within their field and publication year in the Web of Science™ over the past decade. Their work has been widely cited by international peers, highlighting their academic influence.

HKU celebrates outstanding academic achievements in teaching, research and knowledge exchange

Nine categories of awards were presented, including the Outstanding Teaching Award, Early Career Teaching Award, Teaching Innovation Award, Distinguished Research Achievement Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Outstanding Young Researcher Award, Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award, Knowledge Exchange Excellence Award and HKU Innovator Award.
