Professor Tatia Lee being elected as a Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences

"Together with her successful application of neuropsychological data to model cognitive and psychological processes for functional prediction, timely intervention for neurodegenerative and affective disorders are accomplishable goals." —— TWAS

With over 1,400 elected fellows, The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), a programme unit of UNESCO, represents the world's most distinguished scientists from 108 countries, including 13 Nobel laureates. This year, Professor Tatia Lee, Chair Professor of Psychological Science and Clinical Psychology and May Professor in Neuropsychology at HKU, has been elected in the field of Social & Economic Sciences and is the only awardee from Hong Kong.

The Fund aims to promote the act of "paying it forward" to inspire the HKU members and the community to pass the torch on in supporting the next generation.

Your gift will support different initiatives, namely, Entrance Scholarships to attract talents and free them from financial difficulties; Enrichment Scholarships to broaden students' horizons; and Merit-based Scholarships to encourage students to pursue academic excellence.
