HKU Fencing Team wins Overall Championship at intercollegiate fencing competition

The HKU Fencing team attained a score of 304 points with the HKU Women’s Fencing Team earning gold medals in both the epee and sabre matches.

HKU admits eight top athletes in 2023/24
HKU admits eight top athletes in 2023/24
Eight outstanding athletes join HKU through the "Top Athletes Direct Admission Scheme" and are awarded the "HKU Lee Shau Kee Top Athletes Scholarship". They are: Tse Ying Suet 謝影雪, who represented Hong Kong in Badminton Mixed Doubles at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021; Tokyo Olympics table tennis player Lam Siu Hang 林兆恆, who has been ranked in the World’s top 100 throughout most of his career; para table tennis player, Wong Yue Ching 王愉程, who earned two bronze medals at the 2022 Para Finland Open; and fencer Ho Sze Long 何思朗; Charlotte Emily Hall 賀思樂 (triathlete); Liam Martin Doherty (ruby); Lin Mingfu 林銘夫 (long jump) and Wong Hoi Tung 黃凱彤 (table tennis).
The "Top Athletes Direct Admission Scheme" at HKU offers a variety of support to the athletes admitted, including personal academic advice, flexible learning arrangements, physical training, development of their sports career, academic aspirations, and international exchange opportunities.
