To aid researchers investigating the challenges facing rural education and seeking new ways forward, HKU's Faculty of Education, with the support of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation, has established the China Rural Education Literature (CREL) Database《中國農村教育研究文獻資料庫》
The online symposium, “Land, Labour, and Life: Education for Rural Development”, is hosted by the Faculty of Education in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Tin Ka Ping Foundation and the launch of the CREL Database.

“So You Want To Be A Surgeon?” named 2022 edX Prize Finalist for Innovation in Online Teaching
The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) was co-created by 40 world-class surgical experts from 15 subspecialties of HKU’s Department of Surgery. It aims to inspire young students to become surgeons and physicians through learning about common clinical and surgical conditions, and modern advances and cutting-edge technologies in surgical practice at HKU Medicine and around the world.
