Join us online and meet Cameron van Breda, Piyush Jha and Ajit Krishna, co-founders of Hollo. The team won the 2020 Microsoft Imagine Cup World Championship with a mental health companion web application leveraging Azure analytics and AI services to advance youth therapy practices.

Temperature Checks on the Go

 

Researchers and students from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Sciences have explored a low-cost portable thermography fever detection system for public transportation. The system can be run on mobile devices with a small thermal camera plugin, and can be used for rapid screening to single out suspected fever cases using a face detection technique.
