Research
Researchers and students from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Sciences have explored a low-cost portable thermography fever detection system for public transportation. The system can be run on mobile devices with a small thermal camera plugin, and can be used for rapid screening to single out suspected fever cases using a face detection technique.
