HKU Presidential PhD Scholarship
HKU is committed to supporting excellence and helping scholars pursue their research aspirations. The new scheme offers scholarships of up to US$198,000 (approx. HK$1.5M) to selected PhD candidates.

Amid new local cases, HKU experts warn of more virus clusters
The effective reproductive number of local cases had surged to 1.86, meaning each patient can transmit the virus to 1.86 people in Hong Kong.
More community clusters may appear in the coming one or three weeks, and all border control and social-distancing measures should not be relaxed.
