TEARS and GLORY – HKU Sports Scholars
HKU was the first university in Hong Kong to introduce a Sports Scholarship Scheme. Since 1995, around 400 Sports Scholars, both local and international, have been admitted into the University, including Cecilia Yeung 楊文蔚 (BBA), Chan Ming-tai 陳銘泰 (BBA(Acc&Fin)), Rainbow Ip 葉穎寶 (BBA(Acc&Fin)), Alfred Hui 許廷鏗 (BDS), Alex Fong 方力申 (BBA(Acc&Fin), and Yung Kam-wah 翁金驊 (BBA). They are fighting not only for their own pride, but also for the glory of HKU, and Hong Kong.
