It is a convenient leisure hiking and skiing destination in North York. (We may catch some fall colors if lucky)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of trails are with wide paved road through forests, rivers and lakes along the trail. The trail we take this time is all paved with asphalt and is well maintained and easy to \u2018hike\u2019 leisurely. The trail is &lt; 5 km. round trip and is expected to be done by 1.5 \u2013 2.0 hrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We start hiking from the parking lot for about 0.5 km, a gentle downslope of 700 meters then follow until it reaches the flat surface again. We then take it easy to stroll along the path with river &amp; lakes on both sides. The final stretch of the first leg is again, a gentle uphill for 0.5 km and reaches the \u2019top\u2019, a residential area with dead end road. We then turn around and repeat the same pattern before back to the parking lot.
