Hello fellow alumni,
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

We will hike the trails in Heber Down Conservation Area\u00a0<\/span>on Victoria Day\u00a0May 21<\/span><\/span>\u00a0(Monday<\/span><\/span>). It will be about 10 Km which will take 2.5 to 3 hours.<\/p>\n

Meeting time\/place:\u00a02 pm<\/span><\/span>\u00a0on\u00a0May 21<\/span><\/span>\u00a0at Lyndebrook Rd. (east end)\u00a0 roadside parking.<\/p>\n

Directions: (from the south) get on 401 to Whitby, take Exit 399 to Brock Rd. north, turn right on Taunton Rd., stay on for 10 km, turn left\u00a0<\/span>on\u00a0Country Lane, turn right on Lyndebrook Rd. and meet at the end of the road parking area.<\/p>\n

Or, (coming from the north) go east along Hwy 7,\u00a0 past Brock Road and Hwy 412, first road\u00a0 turn right to the south (Country Lane) and turn left on Lyndebrook Rd, drive all the way to the end of Lyndebrook Rd.<\/p>\n

Reminder<\/b>: The trail is not considered difficult.\u00a0 Nevertheless, you are advised to wear either hiking boots or sturdy shoes with good traction.\u00a0 A hiking stick is also recommended.\u00a0 You should assess whether you yourself are suitable for such activity. HKUAAO is not liable for personal injuries. You must inform the hike leaders\/coordinators before the start of the hike about any health problems and allergies and the location of special medications.\u00a0 They must follow the leaders\u2019 directions.\u00a0 Parents and guardians must supervise children in their care.<\/p>\n
