October 2012
In 2003, and in celebration of the Social Work Class of 1978’s 25th anniversary, the Class established the “1978 Alumni Travel Award and Project Fund” to support the overseas placement, conference or study tour expenses faced by financially constrained students at Department of Social Work and Social Administration.
Motivated by the “Turn $1 to Five” Campaign, the Class launched an appeal in August 2012 and so far it has raised over HK$300,000 to bring multiple benefits to students.
