Mid-Autumn with Elderlies

Mid-Autumn is meant to share with your beloved ones. Apart from enjoying the holiday with our friends and family, we hoped to share a pleasant festival with elderlies!! On 27.8.2011 a palatable Saturday, we prepared some entertainments for about 30 elderlies at an elderly centre in Tai Wai. We played simple games, played a drama and some simple exercises with them. We are sure they enjoyed the evening as much as we did!! What is your opinion on social service for our alumni? Please let us have your valueble feedbacks!!

Let's Go Hiking!

One of the best things to do during spring time is hiking! In March 2011, we organized a hiking activity, of which the route is from Tsuen Wan to Sham Tseng. The weather was fine with occasional sunshine and cool breeze. We gathered at Tsuen Wan Discovery Park Arcade, and ended at Sham Tseng. Do you like to have similar outdoor activities in the future?? Lee Shau Kee Hall 5th Anniversary High Table Dinner

5th Anniversary!! It has been 5 years since the establishment of Lee Shau Kee Hall. To celebrate such a memorable event, alumni were invited to participate and we shared the happiness with our current hallmates. It was a great occasion for alumni and undergraduates to re-unite and witness the establishment of our hall in the past 5 years.

Wan Chai Cultural Tours

In August 2010 we organized 2 cultural tours. Here are the details:

1. Wan Chai Haunted Tour

The tour started at Wan Chai Southorn Playground. It was guided by a professional guide who knew many different stories about the life in Wan Chai years ago. We visited Wo Cheung Pawn Shop, the Star Street, the old Wan Chai Post Office, Wan Chai Market, etc.. It was a joyable evening with stories and friends around!

2. Wan Chai Treasure Hunt

The treasure hunt started at the Blue House in Wan Chai. This time the tour was about the places at the back of Wan Chai. We walked past the Stone Nullah Lane Garden, up to Bowen Road. We visited and prayed at the Lover's Stone, walked along Bowen Road, and ended at Happy Valley. It was a small hiking activity at the back of Wan Chai, with lots of lives of Wan Chai people in the past and of course historical stories about Wan Chai and Happy Valley.

On the 27th March 2010, we shared a unforgettable night with our beloved friends!! Many of our friends came back, shared laughters and had a wonderful night together!! We had dinner together at a restaurant located at the City University of Hong Kong. We would like to thank all of you who came whole-heartedly. Your presences are very valuable and supportive to keep us moving on to our future anniversaries!! We will keep on striving to keep our buddies connected, and, see you again soon!! We are looking forward to see you all again soon!!

Ping Shan Cultural Tour

We had a great time at the Ping Shan Village!! We submerged in the environment of ancient Chinese tradition and in the nostalgic Ping Shan Village. With a professional guide, we got a taste of old Chinese village life and literature. The scenes and history of Ping Shan, as well as Hong Kong, were very fascinating. We had more knowledge about the history of Hong Kong, and of course had more knowledge about the beautiful scenary. Let's look at some of the photos:

Golf Fun Day and Buffet!

The golf day was the first function organized by the Association. There were around 20 alumni enjoyed the beautiful scenary, delicious buffet and the healthy and funny exercise - golf. There was a professional coach teaching the correct pose for swinging a golf club. We all enjoyed the beautiful and refreshing environment, the healthy exercise, and also the precious time together with our friends.

The birth of Lee Shau Kee Hall Alumni Association

After a hard work of discussion and preparations, Lee Shau Kee Hall Alumni Association is now established!! We hope we can make our efforts on keeping our friends connected after graduated from the University and after our lives in our beloved Lee Shau Kee Hall. Tonight many of our friends came to eat and drink, to celebrate the birth of the Association, and of course to share a precious and memorable time together.
