We will elect the new board of directors and executive committee members for 2012 – 2013 at the A.G.M. We need new blood for the Board and all members are encouraged to nominate and be nominated for the Board for the coming year.
This is an opportunity to network with old and new friends, HKU exchange students, and to have a fun evening.

Joint U 2012 Bowling Tournament
After badminton and table tennis, this year the Joint Universities Committee, taking the lead from Chu Hai University, have decided on Bowling to be the sports of choice for the 2012 JU tournament. The tournament will be held on the afternoon of May 4, 2012 at the World Bowl Centre in Richmond Hill. Awards will be presented during the dinner that evening at the Mon Kok Restaurant at Kennedy and Highway 7 in Markham. Please plan to come out to play, cheer and to join the dinner. More details will follow.

Joint U 2012 Table Tennis Tournament
Good things come in pair! To build on the popularity generated last year, JU is going to host a second table tennis competition later this year, around September/October time frame. Our table tennis interest group have been diligently playing weekly at the Canadian Chinese Table Tennis Association (CCTTA).

Interest Groups
The Association is exploring the possibility of forming interest groups for our members. These may be sports, social or educational activities such as golf, tennis, line dance, bridge. photography etc. As long as there is enough interest and the groups can operate independently, the Association will facilitate.
